i just looked and there is bank transfer, epassporte (i guess that will change soon in an update) and check. what is bank transfer? i didn't think americans could use that or is that supposed to be the e-check? i assumed the e-check option would actually say e-check.
EDIT: i'm sure my money is safe in ftp though

CakePoker employs a number of processors to help us move checks out to our players. While we have continued to deliver checks to our US resident players, checks in excess of $2500 US$ have been handled by a specific group of processors that has proven to be less effective over time. In an effort to compensate we are introducing a few new processors this week that we expect to bring check processing and delivery times down significantly. With these new processors we are required to formally confirm the identification of the individual before a check can be dispatched. As a result you will be required to provide picture identification in the form of a driver’s license or a passport. Although you may have provided this or similar ID is past we do not keep these documents on file so unfortunately you will have to forward it along again to our support team. Once you have provided this identification you will not be required to provide it again on subsequent check requests.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards,

i don't think there was a fee to withdrawal, maybe they deduct it from ur MGR? I forget and I am really tired now. I guess email them and ask for it if it isn't in your cashier.

no biggie
the poker sites have been extremely lax about setting up much easier methods of transfer anyways. we should never have even used ewallet mediums in the first place. getting around the technicals for direct transfers is probably easy as pie, yet poker sites have pretty much all been lazy as cake.

Everyone just move to Poker Stars. You can make wire transfers to your bank account on big cash outs, or you can even get a check which comes in less than a week. E-checks to deposit are very easy.

more fish will deposit through an echeck than ever would through epass. it just makes moving money around from site to site harder again.

Asked Cake about QuickTender and got the following reply. Not sure exactly what they mean but I guess I'm not eligible:
At the moment UseMyWallet is only available for certain players. We hope to have this option available to all of our players soon.
Please let us know if we can be of further assistance.
Kind Regards,
Steve

I've used Echeck on Stars both to deposit and withdraw and its super easy and no fees at all. FTP also sent an email recently saying they were using echecks also so I'm sure its just as simple. Hopefully other companies will follow suit. There are several sites I'd like to play that allow Americans but are too difficult to deposit on.

does anyone want to let me know how e-checks are at all legal/working for americans? i thought banks were forbidden from dealing directly with online gaming sites. wasn't that the whole point of frist's gay bill? or was it just to prevent cc companies from dealing with gaming sites?

When I make my deposit, besides the email from pokerstars, I got an email about my transaction from myspeeddebit.com.
I assumed they probably process the echecks for stars, and so the bank deals with them. I have nothing at all to back that up, but it made sense when I thought of it.
On my banks end it appeared as "TIGRASUPPORT EFT".
Whatever it is, they don't appear to be dealing with the site directly.

The banks aren't dealing directly with the gaming sites. There is usually a processor that is the middle man between the sites and the banks.
Gaming site tells processor to debit someone's bank account - funds go from bank to processor, then the processor funds the gaming site. It's still a gray area, but the processor is probably not a US based business.
