Allright, boys and girls, here's the deal:

Here's how it'll be, boys. If you wanna play, you will start off with $5 at 25NL or $10 at 50NL.

Once you have reached the max buyin for your level, you will move up to the next level, bringing any excess winnings along the way. (For instance, if you you somehow triple up once you have a $10 stack at 25NL and now have a $30 stack, you will bring the entire $30 to $50NL).

Do this until you are at 600NL. If you get to $2000, you will have completed the first half of this Gauntlet.

At this point, you will now have to gamble in sports. You must now hit what is effectively a three-team parlay. You have to stick the entire $600 on one game, then another game, then another game. NO TAKING HEAVY FAVORITES (anything with odds bigger than -115). You may even choose to do a 3-team parlay and have it all happen at once rather than cherry picking your games along the way.

These must be done at a site where you will be able to post a hand history later, and for the sportsbetting part, you must be able to copy/paste the ticket here.

If you successfully complete this, I will give you a cool trophy with "Gambling Gauntlet Champion" engraved on it, with your FTR handle. Oh: and you should also have around $4200 from your original ten dollars.

If you bust out at any point along the way, you must start over from the beginning.

Anyone game? (I'm so trying this. )

*Note: there are two seperate trophies, depending on where you start the challenge.

I did NOT steal his idea: I adapted it.

NOT minimum buy-in gambles.

Plus, nobody's played dwarfman's NL ring challenge since somebody won it. I now provide impetus for someone to win.

I've played, I'm just not advertising the losses.

(p.s. LOL) so I don't get the BR mangement rant. I've been using the free give away BR money.

I'm starting RIGHT now.. will keep updating my progress aha

That went great, 69 flops 2 pair on T96 flop... he makes a better 2 pair on turn and makes me go broke...

Attempt #2: Wow. I finish 25NL.

50NL. Hand #1, QQ, it is minraised, I raise to $3, 1 caller, QKK flop. I flop a boat... we eventually get it all in and I double to $50, one hand needed to clear 50NL. I will start 100NL tomorrow and will post HHs if I go ALL the way!!

Here she is

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (5 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

UTG ($56.35)
MP ($31.15)
Button ($37.35)
SB ($49.50)
Hero ($25)

Preflop: Hero is BB with Q, Q.
1 fold, MP raises to $1, Button calls $1, 1 fold, Hero raises to $3, MP calls $2, Button folds.

Flop: ($7.25) K, Q, K (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $5, Hero calls $5.

Turn: ($17.25) 7 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP bets $3, Hero raises to $7, MP calls $4.

River: ($31.25) T (2 players)
Hero bets $10 (All-In), MP calls $10.

Final Pot: $51.25

I will be starting with 100NL today and hopefully clearing 200NL as well. What are the other two places, 400NL and 600NL?

UPDATE!!!

Sucked out to do this...

Dealer: hartlis1 has a full house, Sixes full of Deuces
Dealer: Game #5464509336: hartlis1 wins pot ($155.60) with a full house, Sixes full of Deuces

He turned a straight vs my set... and we got it all in, the board paired and I took down the pot. I'll be taking $156 to 200NL later tonight!!

I got up to $23 from $5, but kinda blew it. It's too easy to not take $$ seriously at those levels. I'm gonna try again tomorrow for reals--I've been on a bad downswing and this is a nice antidote.

where is 800 NL?

Also, its not about post flop game but purely a push fold strategy preflop.
