Ok, guys, big discovery and I've documented it all. I've switched to Empire Poker. Don't worry, nothing changes, Empire Poker is Party Poker and I can play either one on my one home machine. Both are installed and working and I have two different login names.
I bet you thought this couldn't be done, right? Well, it can be done.
There are bonuses awaiting all of you. I know some of you guys were wondering about Empire Poker, trying to tap into the extra $100 in bonuses they offer. Well, now you can do it. And, in fact, there will be more than $100 in bonues when it's all said and done.
Check it out:

Also thought I'd take a poll to see where everyone's currently playing. Thanks!

Maybe its the paranoid in me, but I'm wondering about the link where you describe logging in to both Party and Empire at once. Is it possible to log into a game from Party, then enter the same game from Empire with a different username?
I'm betting they share tracking information, so they'd pick up on two players from the same IP at the same table, but thought I'd see if anyone knows for sure.
Great idea on beating the bonus structure.

You can log into both at the same time under your two logins. However, you cannot take a seat at the same table for obvious reasons.

Good information. It is nice to know you can get both bonuses and you don't have to worry about people using it as a way to cheat.

Hi Tyson,
Thanks for the great site. I signed up for Empire through your link so I hope you got your bonus or whatever you get. Or do you get a cut of my rake? I hope you get the latter cause I played a ton of hands already.
I of course deposited the full $500.00 to get my $100.00 bonus and proceeded to get a really bad run of cards so that by the time my bonus was realeased I was down $65.00 so my bankroll was at $535.00. I wasn't too happy about that so I just grinded my way to $725.00 the old fashioned way and then cashed out....lol
thx again this site is the best!

Hey, Joe.
We get a flat bonus amount, thanks for signing up! Glad you could use the $100 bonus, but I hope you realize the bonus is miniscule compared to the gains you can make from a winning strategy.
I've made about $300 in bonus money, but over $4,500 playing a sound strategy, so you can see that the bonus is a nice way to start, but it's really not that much in the scheme of things.
One thing I don't understand are the players who really just hunt for bonuses. Signing up somewhere and cashing out once they reach the bonus amount will give you a couple bucks, but just playing poker will make you so much more...
Good luck to you, glad you like the site, catch you later.

Bonus whoreing can be quite profitable, I've recieved $400 in bonuses already this month, the only trouble is waiting for cash outs so you can hit the new place, some are plain not worth it, but most sites you earn between $5-$10 extra an hour.
I think its worth doing if you are playing limit, opposed to NL as you can earn them faster, I'm building my BR to $1200 this month to play 2/4 and the bonuses are helping. Most bonuses I can clear in 1-2 sessions (Empire took me 3 hours).

Well said Toasty. Bonuses are well......nice little bonuses that add to your profit.
I got the Empire bonus released so quick it wasn't even funny. I think it only took me about 2 hours tops playing 4 NL tables at once. Unfortunately for me like I outlined earlier in this thread I got a run of bad cards so I only was up $35.00 once the bonus was released. But the way I look at it normally I'd be down $65.00 of my own bankroll through no fault of my own. Poker has swings and we all deal with them.
Basically I just kept playing....got on a roll and got my bankroll up from $535.00 to $725.00 the next day. I cashed out $575.00 ($75.00 profit) and now I have a free $150.00 bankroll on Empire to build up (of which I lost half yesterday to 2 terrible beats but thats another story).
Yes bonuses are nice little perks but they don't mean anything if you aren't playing solid poker.
