As many of you might have noticed, I enjoy theme parks....a lot. Here is my agenda for theme park visiting from 2004 onwards, for your information and if anyone wants to know when I am going to certain theme parks so you can try to find a really short guy!
August 2004 - Alton Towers (DONE!)
October 2004 - Thorpe Park
February/March 2005 - Disneyland Paris
April/May 2005 - Port Aventura, Barcelona
August 2005 - Chessington / Thorpe Park
Next 5-10 years - Florida (Universal, MGM, Disneyland).

If you are into theme parks, and have a US visit in your future, I have a suggestion.
The best theme park I have ever been to is Cedar Point in Sandusky Ohio.
They have a ton of roller coasters, including 2 of the tallest, fastest "giga-coasters" in the world. I got to ride 1 of them, the other one was built since I have been there.

I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

Yes I have heard of that one. It has the fastest rollercoaster in the world, called 'Top Thrill Dragster' or something like that, reaches speeds of 120mph.........I should stop reading baout rollercoasters!

Chessington was always better than thorpe park, back when I were a lad, I heard it had some new rides tho, so I think it's improved.

Yep, Chessington is now referred to as South East England's family park, while Thorpe Park is referred to as South East England's white knuckle park. They even moved Samurai, a white knuckle spin ride, from Chessington to Thorpe Park, just for that reason.

You've forgotten Busch Gardens in Tampa if you're planning a Florida trip. If you ever make it to New York you gotta go to Six Flags Great Adventure in New Jersey.

Cedar Point is the best by far. I have been to about everything in the US and Cedar Point probably 15 times. Its only about 3 hours away from my house and the top thrill dragster is insane as hell. I skydive a lot and maybe im just weird but the dragster gives you more of a rush. That thing just sucks your ass to the back of the seat so fast and u just think you are going to shoot off right into space. You gotta check it out sometime. Last year when I road it a couple times the thing would get to the very top and half the time come back down because there was too much weight in the car. Then they would just redo it over and over until it got up. I was so hoping it would happen to me but never did. One group of riders got 3 rides. When you have to stand in line for 3-5 hours it would be nice to get some freebees. The whole ride is only like 15 seconds or something. They have this giant pulley type thing and cock that thing back and then just let her rip but once you start going up that hill nothing is attached to the car so if u are too fat you come back down simple as that lol.

Great America in San Jose, California is definetly fun!! Valleyfair in Minnesota is also awesome. We have "The Wild Thing", a rollercoaster with a straight vertical drop. Scary stuff.
