If I had the money I would do it just so I could make him wear a shirt that says "DaNutsInYoEye OWNS Dutch Boyd!"

I don't see this as a fall from grace. Whoring yourself on ebay seems like a good way to make tournament money.

I have to admit, if I had the money I'd be tempted...if for no other reason than the fact that Fischman annoys the piss out of me.

One of my favorite moments in the WSOP was when Fischman was asked "When's your book coming out?" after he jawed at Doyle. Priceless moment, and I never even saw who it was that said it.

Anyone remember?

It's no accident that many tourney players are either wealthy via other means or constantly going broke.

The variance is killer.

This is my favorite part of the listing:

Finally, I will also commit a couple hours to helping the winning bidder with their own poker game.
At least when he busts out you'll still get some poker lessons. Lesson 1 - making desparation calls. Frankly, I'd rather he teach me a few chip tricks.

Lessons from Dutch Boyd - $1825
Lessons from the greatest MTT tourney player in recent history - $20

Someone's got the value proposition wrong here.

Ok I'm new to knowing anything about professional poker players.

Can someone just give me a little backround why Dutch is banned from poker sites and owes people a lot of money?

Dutch Boyd is God's failed attempt at poker humor. Lame ass Rounders reject.

Can someone just beat his ass already and be done with it.

I actually read an old trip report of Boyd's on RPG a 7CS tourney. It was pretty funny he pretty much played like a noob (to the point that Chip Jett's wife went around the whole tourney telling everyone how bad he had played a hand to suck out on her) after a few hours no one would speak to him, I think he bubbled in the end.

He was trying to justify his raiseing with nothing but someone who plays 7CS pulled his plays apart . . . this was pre poker spot too so it wasn't because he was a thief.
Poker is all about the long long long long long long long term . . .
Barney's back . . . back again . . .

Sounds like Bret is doing great. He's on the right path to success. Cut off ties with Dutch and do everthing in your power to blackball Dutch.

Now Dutch has to have money to play poker. Geez! What is this world coming to.
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.
