When Barack Obama says "it's putting lipstick on a pig" it's a fucking saying. it has nothing to do with Palin. IT'S NOT FUCKING SEXIST.

yes i heard it. i thought he delivered it pretty well, but if you think its just a coincidence he used that saying, well, simply put, youre wrong. im not saying that as a supporter of mccain, because i thought it was funny. also you may have noticed that EVERY SINGLE person in the room thought it was hilarious as well.

Ya, I think its a pretty smooth jab, and something he can say is just an expression. I think its a little ironic though that McCain used the same expression when talking about Hillary Clinton's plans.

I'm not saying people who were there didn't think it was an attack on palin, they clearly did because there was that kind of "omg snappppp" noise. But come on it's a fuckin saying and it's totally relevant.
fwiw I was watching Fox news a few days ago and they had a panel talking about mccain and palin getting ahead in the polls. One conservative analyst said regarding something about the Mccain campaign (and i swear to it) "they're just sort of putting lipstick on a pig." The women were outraged omg omg that's sexist blah blah. And he responded what are you talking about it's just a saying!
Oh i wish i could find this video online.

May have already been said above... but what does a muslim know about lipstick on a pig?
And yes, we've heard the saying before. Dressing someone up as a politician and standing them in front of people doesn't make a leader either.
