I am not happy that he is leaving the Chargers. This is a guy who had 24 touchdowns last year and 27 touchdowns the year before that. His arm will be missed in San Diego.

I couldnt believe the Chargers let him go either. I would have thought if either QB went it would have been Rivers.

I however am glad the Saints signed him, because I am a Dolphins fan and his wanting what he did brought Pepper to Miami. I cant wait for football to start back up now.

If the Chargers were gonna let him have 2 Pro Bowl seasons and let him walk, why not put Rivers in or trade him off earlier?

I guess that shoulder injury changed things, but I think the Charges should be ok. Rivers looks pretty solid and the team is fairly young. Their best days are ahead of them, not behind.

But Brees to the Saints? Have fun losing in a crappy organization, lol.

I just hope this doesnt effect Gates in a negative way. He's my keeper league TE.

I'd think he'll be alright. Rivers is gonna have to lean on him more starting out. Newbie QB's love their TE's.
