I'm in Calgary for a poker series and I have a free day today. If I go downtown, where should I go? What are the tourist areas downtown?
Anything else I should see here before I leave (besides the dinosaur museum)?
We're planning on going to Banff for a couple days next week.

 Do NOT go downtown, nothing but office towers there. Visit the Zoo, visit the fair grounds or just walk the streets near down town in the old section.

Calgary's brutal, not much to do. the Zoo's pretty good, Calgary tower is kinda cool. If you can, eat at peter's drive in.
Banff's nice, better in winter, but you can find lots to do.

I think it's pretty far away from downtown though.

Suck it drew. We're playing the 550 next weekend and the 330 Tuesday and she's gonna own the womens donkshow. And Vamodog is coming for various shenanigans on Monday.

We will wait for you! I've been there a couple of times but Dave hasn't and I don't mind going again.
Oh btw we went to Peter's Drive In and the burgers are pretty good! The fries are terrible, though. We'll go again later this week for milkshakes.

There is a museum downtown w/ a whole floor dedicated to weaponry....the entire museum kicks ass.

Calgary's fucking wicked! Although I can't remember any specifics of where we went, I just remember having a blast anywhere we went. Do hit up Cowboys for the nightlife, it's their must go to club.
And do not be caught riding on the top of a car drunk with your drink in hand while your friend drives through town, they will arrest you!

I'm from toronto. I'm sitting at deerfoot playing some cash and am pretty disappointed with the amount of cash games available in all the casinos around here given how used to Fallsview I am. Ill be playing the 220 and 330, possibly the main depending on how things go.

Donkbee mincashed the womens 550 today. 7th place, ran KK from the button into the SB's AA to get crippled as far as I can tell laaaaaaaaaaaame. vamodog comes in tomorrow, $330 on tuesday and banff on wednesday. great success will be had.
