why would you go see that movie? the previews of it make me want to vomit it looks so bad.
also that new mike meyers movie looks atrocious. overall, these summer movies look way worse than summer movies normally are, and that is saying a lot.

Unbreakable was actually his first decent movie and Signs was okay too.
I've heard that lots of people are just not understanding his new movie and are missing the point. People probably expect this R movie to be all bloody and gorey but that's not what it's all about.

no it wasnt scary.....unless you find the wind scary. the only thing that was kinda cool were the deaths. they weren't done in grisly, blood everywhere, saw movies type deal. it was more about how the deaths occur thats like whoa. but i didn't miss the point of the movie. it just wasn't what i was expecting, which was a suspenseful movie, carried by acting, with a mind bending twist.........what is expected from shyamalan. although, i didn't see lady in the water because it looked like it wouldn't be that type of movie. i liked sixth sense, signs, and unbreakable.....because of the different take on a "super-hero"

Except the scenes where he's a kid and they superimpose his head on a kid's body. But it's just commercials funny, not worth seeing a movie for.

does anyone go to a summer movie really expecting it to be good? can someone explain to me why it is that hollywood chucks out every shitty idea they come up with in the summer time? the only thing i can think of is that high school kids are out and will actually watch them.

iron man was good, dark night will be amazing, I think hulk will be like the first movie staring norton that downright sucks. I think hancock will be the first awesome will smith movie since MIB and independence day.
speaking of superhero movies, the trailer is out for punisher warzone, its not out til december, but maybe this time they actually do a good job with this seemingly hard to botch intellectual property.

I have no issue with MIB but Independence Day is won of the worst pieces of shit passing for a movie I have ever had the displeasure of seeing.
My guess is that anyone supporting Boost's statement was pretty young when they watched it and enjoyed the action and perhaps one or two midly funny moments but watch again now you're older - it stinks.

i am legend is good but because it should have been better it loses some points.
the story from the book and even the movie story is just so amazing that it demands a stellar writer and director. it didn't have those. will smith wasn't a poor choice of actor, but in some ways it seemed like he was due to direction imo. he seems to be trying to break out of his stereotype, but i dont think will be truly successful until he teams up with a supreme director.
