I'm trying to build a roll, and I'm playing 100 NL and right around 28 BI, so i took advice from ISF or Massimo (cant remember which) and am not going to play deep for 2 reasons: im not a very good deep player and its not a good idea when you have that few BI's. So what i do is when i reach like more than 180 BBs i leave the table

On the other hand it pisses me off to no avail when other ppl hit and run me. is this different or am i a douche?

With 28 buyins you can play deep probably. I just think you're not a good deep stacked player. And i'm not trying to insult you, it's just different to play deepstacked. There's a few pretty good higher stakes pros right now who won't play over 200 deep.

I'd be interested in someone making a post outlining the differences in playing deep vs 100bb or some sort of guide (if it hasn't been done already). I think this is also one of my weakness' and I sure a lot of people would benefit.

Any takers?

If you think you're the best player at the table, then play deep. Everyone needs the practice.

This post confused me, I couldn't figure out why it's not a good idea to play a certain level with 29 buy-ins anymore if you're just a normal everyday TAgg. Remember the good 'ol days when 10 was plenty?

Anyway, you're not a douche, I leave if the other deep player has position on me, unless he's a huge fish. Otherwise I stick around.

20 buy-ins is enough if you are playing 4 or less tables.

However, if you are laying 8 tables, I recommend 50 buyins.

The buy in # was more of an issue in the beginning, but the bigger issue was the fact that i dont feel comfortable playing deep stack cause im not confident with it.

Max, please refer to Halv's Official Put Someone Down Thread.
