Occasionally, but I prefer Rummy. I think Rummy is more multidimensional.

To me, Gin is to Draw Poker as Rummy is to Texas Holdem.

You have a lot more opportunities in Rummy to exploit and play from your opponents actions.

Gin Rummy is just like Gin xcept you don't hold your points in your hand. You play them on the table and you opponent can play straights off your straights, and books off your books.

i havent played forever but can you make 3 card straits? I thought they all had to be the same suit also. Are there any 5 card hands?

three cards in sequence, suited.

Its not like poker at all. You get seven cards and the object is to get rid of all of them before your opponent by playing three and four card hands.
