It was made popular by me and TylerK after finding a thread on twoplustwo where some moron actually stated "a straight doesn't beat a flush, do you see why?" in what I thought was a serious tone. It may not have been but I thought it was hilarious at the time. We later found out it was becuase Sklansky used to say it a lot. I'll let others elaborate.

You'll have to ask Tyson. My guess is it was unintentional. But I see now how f'in hilarious it is.
I always thought you guys got it from this (our) page. So, it was first seen at 2+2? Then, did Tyson get the idea from Sklansky, his site, or from you guys -- who, in turn, saw it at 2+2? Is it the chicken or the egg?
