I thoroughly enjoy telling outrageous white lies that are just believable enough that I can pull them off. I dont even need to fully pull them off.. but just to get someone to furrow their brow and say "wait... are you serious?" I pretty much always am like "lol, no." right then. I am not a pathological liar.. I dont mind being caught, I just like the game of stretching someones gullibility as far as it will stretch.

Is this strange? Does anyone else enjoy lying like I do?

When Im drunk I do enjoy taking the piss of people. I like pretending to be gay, uneducated or whatever is a likely test for idiots political correctness. I get caught, when I cant hold myself together anymore and break out laughing.

I know people who do that, and I don't get it. If you tell you that I saw a cat sitting on a cow today, why would you doubt it? There is no way in which believing or not believing it will influence you in any way, so whatever.
I don't get where the fascination is in doing that. Everyone can do it. Actually my 4 year old sister does that all the time.
But she sucks really bad at it.
Ok I guess you can out-lie my 4 year old sister.

I hate story-tellers. They're like a subset of liars where they have a story about simply everything.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

no no no.. this is completely different I think. But maybe it isnt. When Im telling these lies.. they are more like a weird form of a joke. The person Im lieing to is almost always let in on the fact that its a lie. The object is never to impress someone, but instead to make them laugh. Sometimes its the most fun when you dont let them in on the fact that its a lie, but you know 100% that someone will spill the beans.

A good example of this: I was just starting to see this girl in highschool. My ethnicity is not really easy to pinpoint, I could pass for any number of races. So one day she was talking to one of my best friends and asked him what race I was. He explained that I liked to tell people I was half black and half white, but really I was pakistani... but because of 9/11 this embarassed me. I think it was like 6months to a year later, she saw a picture of my dad who is very black(she had met my mom who is obv white.. but just assumed my dad was pakistani) and this was such an epic mind fuck. When she explained the confusion to me I laughed for like 30 minutes.

p.s. I was super drunk when I made this thread early this morning.

I do this constantly. I told my group in this class I was in witness protection and that's why my name on the roster hand stars next to it. Last quarter I had a summer internship for NASA. Both of these are still thought to be true.

I never let something as insignificant as facts get in the way of a good story.

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

I'm very gullible but prefer the word 'trusting'.

I can't stand it when people take advantage of me for the sake of a big laugh... hardy fucking har har!

Girlfriend:
