 So I got the e-mail about this coming summer league. My first thought "Fuck them, I'm not resubmitting"

Then I looked at my design and was all "OMG that's amazing"

So here we go, I spend awhile replacing the 8. I have the layered photoshop image, but the text isn't editable. How'd I do? (note if you look at last year's the 7 looks a little weird cuz of optical illusions and stuff)

 I didn't know anybody else knew what disc golf is.

It's fun as hell. And I suck really bad too.

And that'd be a sweet looking disc. Good luck!

Nice job on the waves/birds thing too.

 I'd put the waterline across the middle of the disc so you get some symmetry when it's flying. They obv. like symmetrical designs.

ya I was really pissed when you lost as well, esp when I saw the "winning" design. Its all politics I tell you!

I think warpe is onto something though, I think your asymmetrical design is far superior and think that its cool because its a frisbee with an asymmetrical design. However I think the win might be in the symetry.

 I'm not spending anymore time on it. My hand was shaking a bit while fixing the 8 cuz it still makes me angry.

If they turn it down I'm just going to front the money and make it myself. I think I can get our B-team to sell discs and anything they sell I'll let them keep the profit for tournaments next year.

I started playing disc golf in 99'. That's an ultimate disc, which I play a lot more of now.


I threw a frisbee once with gabe. It's kinda hazy though.

The listed prize is getting my league fee back ($30). I don't even care.

The unlisted prize is that every Ultimate player in Columbus will now have the disc that I designed (and from the people who saw the design last year they love it). So every time they travel to another tournament there is the potential someone else sees it and says "wow that's a sweet disc". Plus, I've had an infatuation with making a disc, just because (I also have one about making a set of poker chips, which is a thread I've been thinking about for well over a year, but won't be created in the near future).

So I guess, yeah, mostly pride (FU fish for trying to belittle my accomplishment).

Also, one time I played frisbee with gabe.
