Lol, 6 cars raced because Michelin (sp?) advised all cars using their tyres not to race.

One of the cars using Michelin had a puncture and they couldn't find a reason for it occuring, so eventually all Michelin tyred cars pulled out. Ferrari, Jordan and Minardi were loving it.

I actually saw a nascar race from the sky today like on 4 different skydiving loads. Before it started you could see a line of traffic over 10 miles long leading right to the track. And about halfway between the end of this and the track was the dropzone and you had all these people see the skydiving sign and they started hanging their head out the window looking for em comin down.

I heard commentators mention that 11 tyres either failed or were about to fail during Friday's practice. All were right rear tyres. The couldn't handle the banked curves.

Seriously though why didn't the give the spot to his teamate who is now in 4th with that 2nd place and would have been in 2nd with a first place (overall) Also anyone see the turn where Shumaker came tearing uot of the pit and almost took his teamate out of the race? Totally pushed him right off the track into the grass.....

Ohh and anyone else think the other 6 cars should have sat out in protest also? Pretty lame to have a race with 12% of the cars involved and 88% sitting out.

Although Shumaker probably woulda raced anyways even if he was alone so he could win one.

How much does Shumaker pull in a year?

You guys have confused some of the facts.

What happened was...

Michelin informed all teams that their tires were unsafe through the last high-speed corner and that placing a chicane (movable barrier) would remedy the situation. But, according to FIA rules, a chicane could only be placed if all teams unanimously agreed. Ferrari declined, and the rest of the teams pitted their cars after the first lap.

Who is this guy? That's a lot of money for someone who only played minor league baseball for one year.
Seriously, retired and number 6? Nice.
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

Anyone know how much that baseball card with Jordon when he played for the white sox. Or was supposed to or whatever... Pic for the card is during a batting practice. Is worth? Came across one I bought at least 5 years ago now just the other day... Think it's Upper Deck.

But ya he sure makes alot of money for someone that is retired. Must be strictly publicity and advertisement stuff now.
