Or maybe I could follow the advice you've tried giving me over and over again and stop posting strategy all together. Seems to have worked in giving a lot of people pull around here.

I always knew you took it personally even though you tried so hard to portray that just didn't care about what everyone thought about you. People do take you seriously and appreciate your countless strategy posts but let's turn this into a real world example.
You work at some hedge fund, or a real estate office, or for an engineering firm. Now, your work is great, you've recorded record deals or sold huge pieces of property, etc... but every time there is an office get together you get hammered and make a fool of yourself. Or you walk around the office talking about the two strippers you banged last weekend. Now a promotion comes down to you and another employee, and you don't get the job and you wonder why it always happens to you, when you know the answer but just won't face the facts.
If you want to be taken seriously and gain some "pull" around an internet forum then you have to act seriously.

although I rarely get in the middle of internet pissing matches I would absolutely have to agree with Spenda on this and the example he gave is a perfect one.
IMO Spoon has some of the best content posts on the site, but also has some of the most insensitive and childish non-content posts. Unfortunately ALL of our actions play a role in the respect that we are given, not just some of them.
