just letting everyone know that i've been banned
nobody has bothered to tell me why
fair enough i guess, it ain't a democracy and never pretended to be one
search my posts 'daven' - there are over 5000 of them
decide for yourself
note: this account seems unable to make more than 10 posts - message comes up '10 post limit'
note: when i try to login on my daven account i receive a v-bulletin message that i have been banned. Ask yourselves why i don't have a 'banned' note next to my daven account profile. Maybe nobody wants this one to get controversial? Trust me on this one though, i can't log in as daven. pm mods or admins if you want confirmation, but be careful, you may end up banned too

Daven you were banned for conduct detrimental to FTR as you were informed when you tried to log in again. I'm sorry you disagree with the reasoning given but to say there was no reason given is simply wrong.

Ban discussion is on an ad hoc basis and he, or anyone else with 5k posts, certainly should not have been banned w/ out some discussion!

i don't understand why he was banned in the first place. Bikes introduces a questionaire for someone to select members for a study group while Daven ( guessing sivce i didn't see the post only the reference to it in his blog) seems to have proposed an open study group on irc and gets banned.
Can we no longer organize sweat/study sessions on the forum or does it all have to go through mods and admins now?

Sounds like he's unbanned. From a selfish poker point of view I hope so. He is one of the most active members in terms of posting hands and commenting on them. The BC has been picking up recently. Daven going would be a pretty big blow.
