has anyone ever had a completely mad coincidence happened to them?
this one blew my mind...
i bought this book by rober anton wilson, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cosmic_Trigger.
its bascially a mind fuck regaling his experiences with the paranormal which he doesnt "allow himself to become convinced of their reality apart from his perception of them. He calls this approach "model agnosticism". "
On page 5, its starts talking about chapel perilous, a metaphorical place where u start looking into the occult mad, unexplainable coincidences start to occur.
On page 6 i read "Its a mystery" says Saul Paul
No joke. I apparently skimmed read the last paragraph where Saul Paul Sirag ( a quantum physicist was introduced)
http://www.qedcorp.com/pcr/pcr/saul.html
another 'mystical' one, is was when i put 'what the bleep do i know' on my amazon wish list. it was deliered two weeks later, without me ordering it, addressed to another name, with a book ive never heard of. (fucking abomination of a movie).
meh, just wanted to share, sum others must have sum pretty good ones!!!
*disclamier, i do not thin these are the work of supernatural forces, im well aware theres 6,000,000,000 people on this planet, and and many will experience lots of things liek this in their lifetime

I might jsut be tired, but I dont get the first one.
as for these things in general you just have to realize that nothing ever clicks in your head when you are walking your dog and you dont run into a guy wearing a very similar outfit walking the same kind of dog.

p.s. even though I dont believe in these things being anything more than our minds looking for patterns and finding ones that dont actually exist, I do enjoy reading about these things. They are pretty entertaining.

those are pretty interesting and i guess you could say creepy in a way... but it's funny how the mind works, if you really think that some strange coincidences are going to happen, then you will find or notice something that you wouldn't have otherwise. there have been many times when me and my business partners would have a problem and try to be thinking of a solution when all of a sudden, BAM, a tv commercial comes on with a product we were just talking about. we probably have seen it before, but just never noticed.

I say onto you, I've felt the dragon! I felt the touch of his tail, the breath of his fire, and I know without a shadow of a doubt that the dragon exists!

yeah, thats the whole point the paranormal. excellent at counting the 'hits' but ignore the time something extraordinary doesnt happen which it can at any moment.
cliff notes for boost:-
1) i choose the rather lame handle Saul Paul, which ive never heard of, seen beofre, and use it on the internet for about a year
2) i buy book about the occult
3) book says when u look into the occult unexplainable coincidences occur
4) one page later sum1 called Saul Paul Sirag is saying that these coincedences are a mystery
btw, if u like reading about the coincidences (in teh kinda same way u do conspiracys) then cosmic trigger is a REALLY GOOD book. highly recommend it.

Yesterday on Friday the 13th my brother tried calling his insurance company but miss-dialed by 1 number. He ended up reaching the Cheesecake Factory and his crazy ex-girlfriend answered.
