maybe like 5 inches across by w/e inches it would end up being up and down when streched, would be good

For good-quality print, you need a resolution of at least 300dpi at actual size.
Your source image is only 72dpi and much smaller than you need.
You can make source images smaller and maintain good image quality, but it is impossible to make source images larger and maintain the quality you need for print. The pixel information simply is not there.
It's like trying to build a castle with 4 sticks.
