Okay so like once upon a time there was ftr forums and there was irc and they hated each other. Then somebody was like rippy sucks then someone was like no you suck, and then they were like no you suck then the mods were like wtf knock it off noob which needed to be done. Then lambchop was like calm down guys and nobody listened to him. Then Miff was like wtf is going on. Then there was like all these attacks and shit in the forums and some people were like lol and then others were like wtf. Then the mods were like omfg martial law noobs, which was in the spirit of the right direction, but maybe a little too over the top. Then everybody was broken even more deeply to one of two groups: either you were like ya martial law rocks, or wtf martial law sucks this is gay. Then ftr died.
Moral of the story: calm the fuck down, everybody.

So others can see what kind of remarks are frowned upon. Also, it's just easier for me to quote-reply to something and point you to it in your PM warning. Otherwise, it's more work for me to copy-and-paste and explain via PM.
This is not how it's going to be forever. Martial Law is temporary.
Once everyone calms down and I have some peace and quiet around here, a clear set of rules and a less controversial method of discipline will be instituted.
In the meantime, please settle down and be respectful to each other (even when joking) so I and the Moderators can sort out the new policies. That's all that I ask.

I think everyone is essentially only bitching about martial law itself, and no one cares about Ripptyde anymore anyway.
So if that was the goal, it was a pretty good plan, but there is no real need to ban ppl anymore. I'd like to see DoGGz unbanned personally, as the way this is going now it is doing more harm then good.

I find it more than a little ironic.....that if people would put as much energy into learning about and playing poker as they do thinking up witty insults and clever ways to belitttle one another....that everyone would be happier, have more money and there would be no martial law.....as if anyone on these forums has some sort of rights to begin with. FTR exists and we are a community because of the benevolence of Eric, Tyson and Xianti.....is a little appreciation and respect for this place too much to ask for?
