I confess!
I used to be a troll.
This is embarrassing, and I deserve much hate for that. I dont have enough hands to facepalm myself enough.
P.S I was always truthful about poker strategy and about my winrates.

Gorilla, I think youare onto something there.
Sir P developed his own personality kind of, and HE was speaking from his heart.
Slight touch of schizofrenia in a period of extreme loneliness perhaps. Poker can make you lonely uknow.

Carroters-
No, I was not kidding with that offer. I had quite a lot og spare money and seriously thought about staking talented players. What made me change my mind was spoonitnow I think. He told me he wouldnt stake his own grandma or sumthing to that effect.
Benny- today is hamburger day. I must admit i dont always understand your jokes, but somehow they make me laugh nevertheless.

BooG690 -
I have not played poker at all for the last 6 months.
The state of poker is that it is always in flux. You see, there is so much information available for players that even a complete fakktard can learn to play decent, solid poker. The better player will always find ways to manipulate their foes and/or adjust their game to maximize their expected revenue.
However, the gap between good and bad players may have lessened, and this makes it harder to make profit. Rake is often underrated and this can easily be witnessed by playing some heads up cash game and watch both players draining their stacks.
* I believe the future player needs to be sharp at all times. He needs to treat the game as an professional athlete. He must constantly strive to gain the edge on the table.
*He needs to always stay clear headed and never tilt. He needs to have more disclipline and make sure he has control over his temper.
* He needs to have more information than his foes. Now we need poker tracker and dilligent notetaking. And ofcourse utilize this information.
* He needs to pick his battles wisely. Never let his ego play on tables with little or no edge. Always play with an edge!!
The future of poker is all about excellense. Sharpen your skills, gather more information and stay on top of your game. Treat the game with utmost respect and watch your bankroll grow as you strive to reach the pinnacle of supreme greatness!

I think we need to separate training from work. We can indeed gain skill by playing against stronger opponents, but we will lose money.
As your bankroll grows and stakes gets higher and higher you will face stronger and stronger seamonsters and thus gain the needed experience as you dive deeper and deeper into the depths of the great sea of poker.
You know, some of the very best players in the world lose money because they play against even better players.
Hmm, maybe you are right. How has poker been for you lately carroters? Is it hard nowadays?

Btw, I very much respect spoonitnow. He is a master of the technical aspects of poker. That is the mathematical aspect of poker.
Oh, a random idea. I think we need to really grasp the hidden power of the minraise play. No joke. People give off valuable timing tells and the minraise is extremely cheap. I have not used it, but in the hands of a good player and incorporated into a solid poker system, I think this play MAY be of good use in certain situations.

I never said I was a high roller. I played most of the time on one table. Went from 20 usd to about 5k and withdrew after I realized I needed a break from poker. For me it was all about sustaining very high winrates.

The reason she got mad was because I called her an unsympathetic and unthankful walrus! Gotta lay the smack down sometimes lol!
I use my strategic skills with women. They simply get outleveled because I see through their feeble attempts at dominating the relationship with mind-games like playing hard to get and so forth. I dont submit to that BS.
Haha, after she refused me sex twice in a row, I did not come onto her before she literarily begged me! Even better is refusing sex to her once in a while. This drives her crazy.
Gotta keep them guessing, just as in poker.
