Post subject: computer problems, 50$ bounty each.

background: have an hp pavillion laptop with windows vista. running stars, tilt, tracker, hud, usually at same time.
so, problems:
1. FT HH wont import to PT but stars do. (most important)
2. HUD doesnt work on full tilt and i get an error message saying "error occured while initializing table cover". what happens is i cant click or type on any table on tilt, it just freezes the window. Also, sometimes little numbers appear in random circles on the screen and i cant click in that area either.
3. I cant double click HUD for popup stats on stars.
4. betpot wont work.

Did you choose the correct HH folder to import from[from within PT]? (had to ask)
Are you running PT as an administrator?

What version of PT are you running? The most recent was a Dec 20th patch: 2.17.1g.
The latest HUD version is 1.18.
If you're not running those, upgrade and you might be rollin.

If auto-center is on in your FTP settings, make sure you check auto-center in your PA HUD prefs as well.

Copy the HH's text files to another folder, like on your desktop (make a new folder in your Documents), and try again
If it works, change the path to save the HH's in FT to that folder.

If you have flicker-free drawing on for FT, try turning it off. I had a similar problem with not being able to click/type anything and that is what solved it I think.

i think this worked for the HUD freezing thing, ill tell when i have conclusive evidence but put down ur stars/tilt accnt and ill send when it works

Possibly something is accessing the HH's while you are trying to import them to PT. You only have PT open correct, not other programs? Also, can you open the files manually and look at them?

Hey Sauce try this to get your HH from full tilt working.
Copy/paste this text below into a file using Notepad...

Save the file calling it ftp.reg.
Using Windows Explorer, find the ftp.reg file you saved on the hard drive and double-click on it. It will ask if you want to update the registry. Answer OK.
Then after this, try to run PT again.

Alex, Ill take Problem Number 3 for $50.
Are you clicking on the circle next to there name and if so, are you single clicking and holding down for a bout a sec? Also, in the preferences menu of HUD is enable popup stats checked in the general preferences area?

- have you tried running a virus scan?
- have you tried defragging your computer?
- have you checked to make sure there isnt a bunch of shit running in the background (ctrl +alt+ delete; then go to processes).
- have you checked to see what is starting up on your computer automatically that you dont want to. (go to start menu, click run, type 'msconfig').

I'll take problem 2:
Disable flicker-free drawing and switch off Vista "Aero", ie, run vista in classic mode.
Should sort it
Edit: also make sure you are running everything as administrator

In the folder with PT, there should be a log file(I use PO but think that PT works same way). Send it to PT support and they will tell you exactly what your issue is.

#2 Try PokerAce v1.19.4 beta. With this version I get the same error message but HUD stats on FT work fine although pop up does not for me.

Sauce, try this
*IMPORTANT - Remember to run all of the programs as administrator
right click on their icons
You'll be pompted everytime you run it
Change the hand history folder location and try again
I have it set to C:\Users\MyWindowsUserName\Poker\Full Tilt
If you open this folder, you'll find a subfolder with your FullTilt username. So, if your FullTilt username is Sauce123, then you should paste the .txt files in C:\Users\MyWindowsUserName\Poker\Full Tilt\Sauce123\ . Just copy all the .txt files of your other folder and paste them in here. It should work
