When my monitor says "In power saver mode, activate using PC", how the heck do i wake it up?
I have this glitch, only on pokerstars, i click on anything, cashier, etc. and bang off goes the monitor. I have only been able to get it back by restarting the computer m- then I have to wait at least 5 minutes to get back running online.
There has to be a way to wake it, but no key on the keyboard does anything!

I've never heard of anything like that, fucked up. Try pressing the monitor's power button, that should wake it up.

how about take it out of power save mode? right click on desktop, go to screen saver, click on power, and set it to always on or something

Thanks for preliminary attempts to help.
Monitor and computer are Dell, not sure of exact model. OS is Windows 98!
All power saving modes are NOT ON. Never had this problem until a recent PokerStars Update, and it has only happened in their software. They did not express an opinion except to say update the driver.
When in this mode, the monitor light flashes green to amber, turning it off and on and/or unplugging it do nothing.

What is your screen resolution and what refresh rate are you running? Is it a CRT monitor and what size?

Yes it is a big old CRT, 17".
The resolution is the second least setting possible, I think 1024 x 768. Refresh rate is 80 mHz.
Does any of that mean anything? To me the issue is how do you "activate using PC" when there is no interface going on, therefore no mouse clicks and every single key on the keypad, even the ones for sleep mode and wake up, has no effect.
And yes Stars understood it was Win98. (I refuse to let the dam computer industry tell me I need new stuff, it works fine for all applications)
Since asking stuff I didn't think mattered, might as well mention I have 40 GB Hard drive, 833 mHz processor, and 128K ram (even I am a little embarrassed by that one). I choose to have NOTHING operating in the background that is not necessary, no screen saver, no anti-virus, no IM, Nothing.

Ye the 80Mhz may be the problem. Stars may be trying to change the refresh rate. I would bump it to 70 or even 60 first and see if that helps.
