My birthday is in two days and I'm considering getting a new computer chair for myself. However, the only places that sale this stuff around here that I'm aware of is Staples and Walmart, and most of their stuff isn't really that comfortable for hours at a time. I spend a lot of time in this particular chair (obviously), and I'm to the point that I'm willing to invest some money in it for the sake of my back, the length of my sessions, and overall life/comfort +EV.

So lay your suggestions/comments on me so I can figure out wtf I'm going to do.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

Damn, the price on these hasn't budged at all. They are great chairs though, I loved them in the military...

Well, This was only when I worked at a headquarters mind you. My first assignment had Cheap Office Depot rejects for chairs...

And FWA (Fraud, Waste, and Abuse) of funds in the military is disgusting sometimes, I agree, but this would be a poor example. (A $20K Hammer would be a better one...)

See if you have a back relief store in the area. I forgot the names, but check your online yellow pages. They sell massage chairs, office chairs, exercise balls, etc for the back and should have a better selection than office max, etc.

I've been looking for one too.

the Aeron chair is indeed awesome, but I would prefer one with a headrest.

The Humanscale Freedom chair has such a headrest, but its met mixed reviews.

Another nice one is the Ergohuman ME7ERG .

The thing is, you have to go in a place and sit on a wide variety of chairs to try them out, what may be comfortable for me may not be comfortable for you

i have a mirra and its more than paid for itself. It has a firmer back than the aeron, I went to a high end store and sat a bunch. You should do the same, best way to pick one out. Dont go cheap, i bought a 250-300 dollar chair from staples and it was in the trash in 2 years.
