if im gonna buy cheap beer its going to be PBR or Lone Star. i doubt they carry Lone Star anywhere but texas, but for cheap beer its solid. coors light tastes pretty much like the can you drink it out of.

I've made this exact comment in at least 3 different threads... I have no problem with people drinking cheap beer and putting shit in it... but paying more money for "name/image recognition" that requires fruit is just posing at it's worse.
I have a habit of putting random edibles into beer (green olives, tomato juice, pepperoni slices, jalepenos, shots of vodka, hot sauce) but I do that with swill... like Natty, 'da Beast, Busch, etc... If you're hard up for lime in your beer, buy cheap shit, and fruit it up..... then you can join swig and I as we laugh at the posers who pony up the extra cash to drink Corona.

afaik there's only one ...type... of miller's imported to norway, don't know which one it is. Haven't drank it in ages, I'll have a look at it the next time I'm at the store.
I don't think I've ever seen Oberon, probably not imported here.
Gotta put Urquell up there with the good stuff too, forgot about that.
Guiness is too heavy/dark for me .

Well, you say you like it... there isn't much to argue with that...., but I just have a difficult time believing that anyone can honestly like the taste of Corona by itself or honestly think that Corona with a lime is substantially different than any normal cheap beer w/ lime. My ONLY possible explanation is that people drink it (albeit subconsciously for many) for image.
I agree w/ flomo... i'll drink anything, but Corona is expensive.. and for that price I'll buy more beer of equal quality (e.g. PBR), or good beer that actually tastes good in equal quantity to the Corona (e.g. IPAs, ESBs, Brown ales, scottish ales, porters, stouts, Ambers, etc...)

I also agree, put a lime in a cheap beer and you have pretty much the same taste anyway.
However I don't really want to hate on people who are drinking it for image purposes either, just like I don't hate on people with flashy watches, clothes, cars or whatever. (well maybe I hate on them a little if they're taking it to the extreme)
