Did they have something like a counting thing at pokerstars which said how close they were to the money hand?

It shows what hand you're on in the corner of the screen, so everyone should have known what was going on. They were flashing system messages before it happened, too. I was playing the .05/.10 tables and when it got down to 999,990,000 we all were folding every hand to increase our odds. Even doing that, we were about 1500:1 to hit it. (I was on 2 tables, so I guess I was about 750:1)

Here's the hand history with all the observer chat removed.
(they paused the table while Lee Jones congratulated everyone, so that's what the confusion was about)

Let's see. $6.50 to win an extra $45,000

Do pot odds justify calling with my 32o?

OF COURSE!!!
I don't know what they have to say
It makes no difference anyway.
Whatever it is...
I'm against it.

I think TOP talks about a similar situation when descibing how one should play in relation to the antes. The question is posed: what would you do if someone tossed $1 million into the pot that was to go to the winner? The answer is obvious: you sure wouldn't fold!

Some people are dumb dumb dumb. I wonder if these are the same folks that would call a big bet with only 1.5 bets in the pot because they have 3rd pair.

This is my first post. I really have improved my game and expanded it because of you guys -- a heartfelt thank you.
You guys pulled me out of lurkerdom by trashing these lucky/poor souls who folded.

I was at one of the earlier, smaller prize tables. I had five dime games open, either folding or all-in-ing as fast as I could, and I folded my hand at a prize winning hand. DOH! I had 'skinned' my PS tables and could barely read the hand number (FTR - thanks again, guys!)

Let me assure you, yes, my strategy was to all-in if I caught the '0000000' hand. I screwed up beacuse of my pace and not being able to read the hand # quickly, but the $500 was very nice. 8-) And know that the 'idiots' will still get to enjoy their $5000 even though they left the table. They merely had to be dealt into the hand to earn the prize.

Also, very funny, I made about $40 at the dime tables with my quick fold / all-in method. Some fool would always want to play his K9 at the dime table, and some smart guy, playing for the '...0000' hand would all-in him to get him to fold. K9's frustration would put him on tilt, and when I caught AA, KK, QQ, JJ and all-in'd, K9'd call, and I'd make some cash. There was a K9 at every table throughout the day. Didn't lose once. Funny.

Thanks again, and please ease up on us fools.
