I've been wondering lately how many people here are in college, and instead of studying are playing poker (like myself)? This may have people realize other FTR members that are close by.
What college do you attend? And if you feel left out what college did you attend? And what are your prospective majors/degrees.
I'll start, I am a Junior at the University of Illinois @Champaign-Urbana (also referred to just as Illinois) and major in Accounting...(pre moneymaker). I've been playing poker for almost a year.

What year did you start? Doubt I would have been seen, I spent too much time in "The End" (At least I Think that's what it was called - the pub down the road from the Firkin and the TWAT Café)
I started back in 99.

Yea, I know. I think we would have ended up playing you guys if it wasn't for John Lucas' miracle 3 pt. shot. Ga. Tech didn't even show up in that game.

I saw that you are from Illinois I was wondering from where. I guess it depends on who we are talking about. Theres a slight possibility we know similar people, but probably not. Do you know professors? Students? It also depends on your year.
I'm also a member of the Fighting Illini Bass Fishing Club, I hear SIU gots some good lakes.
Economics = Yuck....sure would like my C's back from those courses
Thanks everyone for responding to my post, I am surprised this many people posted who are in college.

Big Ben and Talik Brown were a close 2nd. The only reason I'm watching any NBA this year is because of Jameer and Delonte. Good luck to Gordon in Chicago...

FYR, I bet you say that to all the guys.
I enjoy your HE tips and scenarios. I believe I've incorporated some of them into my game (it sure needed help), and it's has shown some improvement. Thanks much...and would you please quit hitting on the older gentlemen and picking on Fishstick (it's not nice to pick on the handicapped)

Hey Mookie, I got a questiong for you...
Are you still in the profession of Accounting and if so are you working for a Big 4 company? Also, I don't know if you use an ERP sysem like SAP, but if you do, would you say that's pretty important to know in the business world these days?
Thanks for taking the time to read this if you do.
