Post subject: Cold medicines - dont want to OD

I have a really bad cold and picked up a bunch of cold medicine from CVS. It all different chemicals (ie im not taking medicines with the same active ingredient), but im wondering if i mix them all if it could really fuck me up.
Thoughts?

i can answer all the Q's, there are 4-5 basic ingredients, for the most part you jhust want to avoid the brand coricidin (ing: chlorphenamine aka chromium maleate. This is the main one that could cause an OD.
and any upper derivatives like pseudo-anything... Guaifenesin, an expectorant to loosen phglegm, can can make you throw up in too high doses, maybe 5x dose
regardless taking 3-4 the dose wont really do anything bad
but honestly they do basically zilch for a cold
dextromethorphan supproses coughs for some, but not really that amazing
ppl like nyquil to sleep through the night but that's just because it has the same "sleep" chemical family found in all the over the counter sleep aids

Dude... u know mad sh!t about cold remedies... 
I usually just take the max of one thing and then move on to the next until I a) feel better, b) feel numb or c) go to sleep. But your sh!t sounds way more scientifical...

Make sure your cough syrup contains codeine and promethazine. Mix this with Sprite and some Jolly Ranchers. Your cold will be over faster than you can say Pimp C!
