this is a semi-serious post, but i couldnt find an all-encompassing sub-forum to put it in. so, here we go... (plus we all know the better brains hang out in here now )

we all know the Circle of Life. (poker money passes around the circle to the left). but, do we suppose there is another circle?

it seems to me that TAGs, and especially nits, cant handle LAGs too well. so, they pass their money to a LAG by folding or picking the wrong spots to "make a stand." however, LAGs dont typically play Stations too well because a Station takes bluffing out of a LAG's arsenal. so, LAGs pass the TAG's money over to the Station. however, the Station only gives it right back to the TAG, who murders stations by value-betting thinly.

is there something to this?

the reason for "Circle of Toilet" is because every couple hands, everyone at the table has to pitch money into the toilet (rake) only to never get that money passed back to them...other than to reach in that swirly to get about one dollar out of every three back, if he's quick.

lol. this really belongs in another forum...one that will take the crux of it a little more seriously...and not post pics of dirty commodes, or the guy all grinch-faced because of one of you "culinary's" burritos. post away, boyz.

I think I get what you're saying chopper. The bottom line however, is that if a nit/tag sits to the left of a lag, the nit still has an advantage before the cards are dealt.

If you think I'm missing something from your post, you're probably right.

Why do you think that taggs can't play against laggs? The only difference between the two is that taggs start with better hands.

Also nits are not taggs. They are weak tight fish.

ahhh, but TAGs have more consistent sex. they dont bust 12 nuts in one night and take the month off. one nut a night...every night.

you guys are all misunderstanding terminology. one player 'type' isn't superior to another, excluding extremes

I think you might be taking this post too seriously. It is just that one style generally dominates another style but none dominate all. Until of course you have a read on your opponent and adjust properly. The TAGG --> LAGG --> Station --> TAGG example is just funny considering the rake causes the theoretical circle to close in and spiral downward as less money is available for the passing. Hence the toilet.

its about all, and none, and some

Here's the real question:

Will the money lost to the rake go backwards if you live in Austrailia?
