if you have a $1000 bankroll. is it a good idea to play $10 per hand at blackjack rather then $2. the variance will increase relative to the bonus you are playing for (but it you can also make bigger profits).
the profit you expect to make in the long run remains the same. and the time it takes you to clear each bonus will be 5x quicker.
is this a good idea if you have the bankroll?
in the long run you'll make the same profit but at a much quicker rate. you could do the starluck bonus in about 1.5hrs in stead of 7.5 hrs.

Yes, your $/hr will go up, as will your variance. If you can handle the higher variance bankroll-wise and mentally it makes the $/hr go a lot higher and the bonuses much quicker.

I don't - I stick to $1 or $2 bets unless I'm running hot (say I start at $200 and find myself at $240 or something) at which point I might increase my bet size until I either get even higher, or drop down a bit (say back to $215). This seems to speed up the whoring in general, but keeps me safer if I'm not running hot.

I usually go with bets that match the starting amount. If I deposit $100 and get $100 I do $2 bets, but if I do something like $200 and $200 I do $5 bets. I don't think I've ever done $10 bets unless it was risk free.

but why not just play $10 a bet if you have a $2k bankroll?
there are plenty of casinos out there which will lower your variance. you can play 5 casinos in the time you play 1. the variance will be lowered after playing at 5 casinos and you'll have 5 times the bonus

Big bets are the shit for big rolls. The smallest bet size I use these days is 10$ on small bonuses (the willam hill monthly comes to mind). I'll use the smallest bet size available if there's autoplay, though.

o kl. you must go through the bonuses really quickly. i'm going to do that when i have a bigger roll.
which casinos have autoplay? aren't those really easy to complete? do you have to be at the computer when you're autoplaying? i can just start it when i go to bed and then when i wake up i'll have an extra xxx dollars in my account.
what's the willhill monthly? and what is your casino whoring bankroll? are you english or do you play on willhill from the usa?

The thing about betting big is that you'll bust alot of casinos (I typically bust 3-5 in a row), but you'll make a big enough score at some of them to compensate. The EV goes up because you wont finish the wagering on the ones you bust (duh), and because most of the time you'll bust out in 15 minutes, your hourly rate goes through the roof. But you need to have a big enough bankroll to sustain the losses when you run bad.

The only one I can think of right now is 32Red, it's a small monthly bonus. Used to be 50£, but is now 32£. I let it autoplay while I take a crap or something, it doesn't take long really. Mansion Casino has a 100%/1000$ signup bonus that can be cleared autoplaying Keno with EV 384$ IIRC, that one took like a week of overnight autoplay.
25£, I think the wr is 500£.

Almost 7000$, I've also cashed out just over 7k. This is since late may, but please note that variance has been good to me.

why don't you just buyin for like $1000 instead of $100 so that you don't bust?
or does depositing only 100 help your ev?

The EV increases the earlier you bust, it's pure maths. The EV doesn't depend on the bet size itself, but a bigger bet size increases the chance of busting. Every wager you make to meet the WR is a -EV wager (in a vacuum), so the earlier you bust, the less -EV wagers you make. It's not a huge difference, but more EV is more EV . I'm too lazy to calculate the small difference, but there are some posts laying around on that other poker forum that do this in detail.

OK. thanks for the help.

yes. good 'ol bust out equity
basically, if you don't bust out at 2 casinos with 10000WR then you've wagered 20000. If you bust out of one after wagering 2000, then in total you've wagered 12000. +EV
Yeah, I make $10-$25 bets
