If you know what you want and that's what you want then do it. Typically, however, you don't know what you want so you make decisions that cause greater harm than acknowledged. Oftentimes we find this in cheating.
It's very rare that unsanctioned extra-relationship sex makes fulfillment. It is often a necessary byproduct of poor life understanding and decisions though.
