After ~3 minutes, I hit the 'BACK' button and haven't revisited since.

I'm trying to find a new series on Netflix to get into and recently I've tried Horseman and Archer. Archer is a lot better imo. I find Horsemen to be slightly dull around the edges when it comes to character. In order for a show to be successful, particularly one where the main character is on-screen for a high % of the time, the audience must enjoy that character. While Bojack is sometimes witty, he's incredibly negative all the fucking time. It's hard to like anyone who is always a pessimist and down all the time.

There have only been four shows I've dove into head first, watching the first few seasons in a week or two. I'm trying to find another but so far no cigar.

Back on the topic of animated series, I've been getting back into Southpark. It's probably one of my top 3 shows of all time. Also, Season 17 was released yesterday for your downloading pleasure.

All of these are great shows and I'm in the same boat you are when it comes to trying to get into TV series available on Netflix. Many have promising Season 1s (Weeds, Sons of Anarchy, Heroes, Greys Anatomy, Desperate Housewives, 24, Revenge, White Collar... to name a few) but then started turning me off.

The 2 Seasons of Jericho and House of Cards are both B+ if you haven't checked them out yet. Separately, if you can find a way to view The Sopranos, that's also good TV.

As far as animated series go, I used to be a fan but had a gf a few years back who was a HUGE fan of The Simpsons. I sat through enough of those episodes (and her laughter at just about every punchline) that I no longer enjoy animated comedy.

Game of thrones. The only show besides Lost I've ever not wanted to stop watching.
