Im really hoping that they start a new franchise. After sc fans get their fix, I don't think another mmorpg will be appropriate. After d2, then wow and an xpac.. i dont think D3 or another wow expansion will satisfy many people.

It was announced as Starcraft 2... no new races and still same camera view, same map styles, only new units and better gfx..

phan I think this is a good thing. Blizzard had an amazing formula, now they are just updating it. They wont alientate thier fanbase and stuff. Has it been said "no new race" actually? Its still kinda early, you never know. Either way I think its a good thing that they are sticking close to the orig game.

hmm strange that you left the bit about it still being early in, but I read on ign that there will only be 3 races. Guess Im just reading too far into you quoting me heh.
