It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

The deer should have slowplayed. He's giving off all the wrong signals, and is sure to chase the dog out of the pot. Nothing wrong with a cute play every now and then to maximize.

The hand isn't strong enough to slowplay. You have to figure out if you're betting into a monster early, so you can get out quick. I mean lets be honest. In this situation, you're not going to get a chance to bust the nuts unless the opponent let's you hang around. If you come over the top like this, and the opponent comes back strong, I think you have to surrender into slabs of venison.

Obviously he's not trapping with premium strength. His understanding of the game is "get a good one and go with it hard." I think you're right, get out of there before there's a big blowup.

Then again if you hang around with a tight opponent, he's probably gonna pork you. Maybe it was his own fault for sticking around. Tight aggressive beats loose passive all day long.
