I have the name of a long lost person(my wife was adopted and just found out the name of her birth mom) (after 34 yrs!!) we typed her name into Google, and Yahoo. but not to good.
any suggestions on how to search for a person for free? I know theres a zillion pay sites.

if possible find the SSN# then track the last paycheck/social security check address .
it may be impossible to get her SSN# tho .
