What do you guys think is going to be the best next gen console to buy? The xbox 360, PS3, or the Nintendo Wii?
I think the nintendo wii is really interesting with the controller, but it wont have the power that the ps3 and xbox will. I mostly like to play shooting games which the wii looks like it could be alot more fun to play them. What do you guys think?

The only thing xbox has goin for it is halo 3. Ive never owned any other xbox games, and it was the whole reason i bought it. PS3 is just rediculously expensive, although im sure it will be somewhat more powerful then the 360. Dont really know any games i would really want for ps3, maybe Gran Turismo. The Wii just looks really cool because of the controller design. I think alot of games will be more fun because of its controller capabilities, especially shooting games.

PS3 looks like the winner to me, but wtf is with the two different types for different prices...the whole reason im a console gamer is so I dont have to worry about hardware/softwar compatability etc etc....I dont want fuckin choices of what console I want of the same console
Is there any reason to buy the more expensive PS3 over the less expensive one?

The more expensive one just has a bigger hard drive. When they first announced the different prices, the more expensive one was supposed to have HDMI support, but they added that to the less expensive one too. Unless you plan on using way too much hard drive space, the less expensive one is the way to go now.
