Have yet to see Episode III. However, I saw Batman Begins this weekend with my sons. Best superhero movie I have ever seen. Hands down. Also may be the best movie I've seen overall in the last several years.

Whether you are familiar with the story of Batman and how he came to be or not, the character development was incredible. Also, they didn't choose to hype the movie with flashy villains. The movie was dark and very interesting. IMO, a must-see whether you like superhero movies or not.

Batman Begins is awesome. One of the few movies that was worth the prices theaters charge today. I'm serious...I often wait to see movies when they come to $1 theaters because most just aren't worth it. I'd consider paying full price to see this one again. I definitely consider it one of the best movies since the LOTR series, with a bigger mass to appeal to. Without a doubt, the best Superhero movie I've seen.
I run a training site...

I havent seen it yet, but I had a good feeling about it. I saw 'the machinist' last night and whats his name is a great actor thats for sure. The thing with comic book movies is they are (for the most part) heavily dependant on special effects and not just traditional big explosions, but computer animation intense stuff. So recently as tehcnology has advanced leaps and bounds in that field, comic book movies are so much less corney in a visual sense. Therefore, they are being taken a bit more seriously, by the directors, actors, and movie goers. From what I have seen and heard, batman is not over the top with the computer stuff, however its jsut following a trend that has been kicked off by the rapid improvment in the technologies often involved in super hero movies.

So in short, for all the comic book geeks (past and present) we are finally getting some movies that do the books justice..

Nah come on what about the awesome podracer scene. Werent the special effects so cool? and sebulbas character, wow what a great bad guy.

Dont get me started on jar jar binks! I have never laughed so hard in my life. What a funny one.

Heh... i really dont think I could see episode 3. seriously. Just far too disgusted with the first 2; I dont wanna waste 3 hrs of my life, thats like 2-3 SnGs. =P

And as for batman, maybe if Katie Holmes wasnt in it. Come on, just for once cant they get a half decent female lead?

If you liked the first three you may want to reconsider. Ep. 3 brings the whole series together. Gives some background on Obi-Wan & Darth Vader's history and shows us how the emperor came to be. At least rent it.

And why in the world would Tom Cruise give up Penelope Cruz to marry Dawson Creek's girlfriend?

EP3 was leaps and bounds better than EP1 and 2

you can see Katie Holmes' nipples in Batman begins. Plus shes good looking.

Batman begins is a damn damn damn good movie.

When special effects are done well, they dont look like special efects. Batman begins did a wonderful job as a special effects assisted movie, as oposed to a movie laden with special effects.

Looking forward to Batman Begins! Episode III was a disappointment...
Lucas needs to be bitch slapped for the major f-ups in casting, dialogue etc..

I count four pre-Katie female leads -- all of them EXACTLY half decent.

This isn't a big draw for die-hard Sam Raimi fans.

She sucked. When she was in court I assumed she was a high school student doing some kind of cutesy mock-trial like we used to do in my 11th-grade business law class.

I haven't seen batman yet, the only thing I was worried about, was the actor who plays batman (Don't know his name) I saw him in this movie called equilibrium... It was an absolutely horrible Matrix knock off... Everyone's told me he did a really good job in this movie though

American Psycho was a good one. And yes, Christian Bale was fantastic.
Empire of the Sun... another great flick. But I don't remember him in it.

Not as wierd as Jack Nicholson's cameo as the jester in the Medival Times scene. What kind of a jester steals the lance from a knight and then spears the knight and the horse simultaneously? It was nice seeing where the huge white smiley face came from though.
