I saw this movie years ago and just discovered it was re-released on DVD and Blu-ray in 2008. If you've never seen it then you have truly missed something.

Watched this quite recently. Simply amazing. I didn't really know what it was, other than that it was a movie just with footage of cool stuff, rather than with dialogue, a plot, etc. etc. I was expecting to enjoy it but get bored after 10 or so minutes and watch it in chunks like that. Sat down, turned it on, and an hour and a half later I was wishing it was still going. So damn cool.

Cocco bill is right. Koyaanisqatsi also has by far the better score. As good as it is, I feel like Baraka pretty much ripped off the qatsi trilogy.
