The only band that I find comes close is Metallica. (Well, Manowar's okay, but their ballads have way too much fromage...)

ahhh, the power ballad. Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, and def Leppard reign supreme. But the classics by Skid Row and Poison shouldn't go unnoticed.
