hi all,
i'm currently sitting on my balcony at the atlantis report enjoying a warm sunrise over the ocean. its awesome. i couldn't sleep in anticipation of today's events so i decided i would start reporting. instead of making a narrative im just going to write stuff that happened in separate thoughts to the best of my knowledge.
-i arrive on island and try to meet up with lukie and boost. i was supposed to meet them at airport but i catch wind that boost has plane trouble and say 'fuck it, im going to hotel!'
-i get to hotel and check in by myself. the room is awesome but my cellphone doesnt get service down here so im still in the dark on how to hook up with friends. i plan to call the front desk to get the room of MR ERIC LUKE but decide to go down and check out the poker area and get my free goodie bag first.
-i walk down stairs and happen to run into vish aka journey. this is good because we are planning to share a room. this was our first irl meeting.
-we go to my room and get settled some more while raiding the minibar for alcohol. i finally get in touch with lukie using the hotel phone and he comes by. we offer him a shot of bacardi, he spits it out as soon as it touches his lips. standard for him.
-all of us go down stares and as luck would have it we run into boostnslide. he is straight thug murda and its good to see him.
-we eventually find ourselves at a bar. we drink some, then find ourselves at some buffet ordering bottles of wine and eating fish and shit. while we are eating some magician in a crazy suit does tricks for our table and it was pretty cool. somehow the magician got $80 off of us because lukie kept telling us to give him $20s. lukie sucks. also some thug islander dressed as a clown was talking to us but i havent figured him out yet.
-somewhere during that time we are all walking together and see lee jones. we yell at him to stop and turn off our doomswitches when he can. he complies with the former. we got a good picture that i will post next week. hes a nice guy.
-we walk across hotel trying to find the pokerstars cocktail party (open bar!!) but vish and i get split up from lukkake and boost somehow and get lost. apparently they ran into doggz, bmx and lambchop. vish and i go back to the poker room. i see barry greenstein and get a picture but we dont talk to him much. also saw moneymaker and just said hi to him. both of those guys are really short in real life.
-we get in some line so vish can register for the main event. apparently the guy behind us vish met at turning stone and they dont like eachother. this guy is like 5'6"ish and wearing jewelry and a tomlinson jersey. also he had braces. vish talked some shit to him about how bad he was at poker and he would love to play him headsup. the punk acts like a fool and i call him a fake ass pussy or something. he asks me if he wants to go outside and i tell him i would love to kick his ass, but at the same time i let him know that i didnt know how i felt about hitting a kid with braces. eventually one of the staff workers breaks it up because it started getting ugly.
-the punk kid starts playing poker somewhere and he keeps staring at us. vish puts out a 2k hit on him and we discuss who might collect. i walk up to him and tell him again to meet me outside after he busts, which should be soon if vish's evalutation of his poker skills are accurate. if you cant tell im pretty drunk and boisterous at this time.
-somewhere in this time i meet up with DOGGZ and he seems like a nice enough guy. we are friends in real life but will continue the internet hating.
-$100 sng goes down with lukie, doggz and me in it. i get busted by 2p2er davidross when he leads into me with a set with like 15bb stacks in a raised pot. that was the last hand i put him on. people just dont do that in tourneys.
-we are drunk sitting outside of poker room again and see lee jones. we say hi again and hes like "wow what day are you guys playing???? tomorrow?? gosh drink some water." i told him i read his limit book long ago (didnt tell him it was pirated, thanks jeff!) and that was why i qualified. again, hes a nice guy.
-we eventually got in bed by about 12.

-the worst part about busting a major tournament is the awkward moment where you stand up and look around trying to figure out if you shake hands with the people or not.
this day was rather uneventful compared to yesterday.

this was taken during the hand i busted when i was trying to look like a badass (i did, didnt i?).
anyway, no one at my table is good except grimstar of 2p2 fame. i tell him how i dont like him because he always ruins my headsup games and he says something like 'sorry man, no hard feelings.' hes a pussy. he eventually loses his stack when he gets allin KK vAA against a guy who hadnt played a single hand in an hour, then 4 bets. wtf did you think he had grimstar idiot?
-i spend about 13k of my 20k stack building an image. i had some premium hands but they always called me down when i didnt have shit. maybe im a tellbox, whatever. the hands werent really interesting so im not going through the trouble of posting them. i did triple my 7k up with AA v AK v QQ, which was fun.
-the only hand i outplayed someone good was when my stack was about 22k, i open Tc5c from the cutoff (very tight button and small blind) and young big blind guy who thinks hes tricky calls in big blind. his stack covers. 224 flop, he check raises me. ive seen him check raise before and if he had a great hand he would have waited to a later street, so im pretty sure he doesnt have a monster. i call, and bet 6k into the pot of about 9k on the turn (only 22k stacks to start the hand) and he mucks.
-busto hand: i have about 25k, blinds 200/400 with 50 ante. 1 limper, i make it 1700 with red jacks, SB calls (he covers, he is pretty straightforward quiet english guy), limper folds. flop comes AcJc5c, he checks, i bet 3k, he makes it 10k, i pose for the above picture, then shove the rest. he calls with 8c7c, the board comes running clubs but we cant chop it. AWKWARD MOMENT OF NOT KNOWING WHOSE HAND TO SHAKE ENSUES.
-apparently lukie busted later, but we were out partying and he didnt come confirm anything so who knows. jfish aka journey aka vish has a huge stack and is like 6th i think.
-after busto, boost and i hit up some bar with the plan to get wasted. we drink at some random spots, take a nap, get woken up when the tourney day is over and we head to some baller dinner at the restaurant. we order a few bottles of wine because the restaurant was too nice for pitchers.
-we go to casino, get lost, go back to casino bar and drink alot of beer. we eventually start playing table games and i won a $1k roulette spin so im only stuck 500 for the casino trip.
-we end up making some stupid late night prop bets and dont sleep until 5am. today i think we are riding jet skis.

hey everyone, it's lukie posting on gabe's account.. we (me, gabe, thug murda, jfish, and derick) are all chilling in fish and gabe's room.
anyway, as a quick update, the first day was awesome.. see gabe's original post. Yesterday kinda sucked. Long story short, after 12 or so hours of poker, possibly more, all i have to show for it is busting out of the main event, dropping almost 2k at 5/10 to some donkeys (by being an even bigger donkey) and losing a prop bet to jfish.

oh yeah, something gabe conveniently forgot to add about day 1, we were all just chilling in my room, and somehow he puts me in a headlock when we weren't even fighting. He wants me to tap out, I'm in this shit for about 5 minutes getting thrown into the ground, nearly choking to death and finally break out of it and put him into some nasty submission hold that he IMMEDIATELY taps out of.

BOOST: Im no balla I didnt play, Im just on the coat tails of some ballas. The guido with braces thing.. hes freinds with jordan berkowitz, I journey and him have beef, the guido not jordan. I shared a cab with the guido from the airport, hes a douche but w/e. When I realized that journey was talking shit about the guido, I made an attempt to set up a hu match. Journey is a good cash player, guido is a sng homodonk. Journey is drunk and follows me over and is talking a lot of shit while Im trying to setup a really profitable hu match for him. Braceface starts getting hostile and tries to be a hardass. At this point jordan berkowitz comes over. I am still trying to be peaceful and cordial because Im trying to help j's drunk ass out. Out of nowhere berkowitz, he looks like alf and will from now on be refered to as such, gets in my face and is all loud and shit, hes doing like the chest bumping thing. I dont like that shit, if I wasnt in the bahahahahamas, specifically in the pstars poker room, I insta swing on him. Under the circumstances this is massively -ev though. I push him off me . Security gets involved here and they are just doing thier job, so they are a bit agressive with me. Im drunk, but Im not beligerant. I try to talk to the security, but hes trying to drag me out of there. J's trying to tell the security that I didnt do anything. Braceface is still there and Im like "come on man, you gonna let me get kicked out, Im just trying to set up a heads up." That fucker just kinda shrugs his shoulders and says his "not getting in the middle of it." w/e the fuck that means, fucking guido. Latter that bitch claims he told the security that I didnt do shit, but hes a lieing untrustworthy jersey shore guido fuck. Anyways Im almost getting dragged out and this is when alf stars shoving the other security yelling and spitting telling them "get the fuck of me, you dont know who I am!? BACK THE FUCK UP." I poitn this out the security on me, and at this time he realizes Im not the douche, shakes my hand and apologizes, I tell him to have a good night. Alf is dragged out.

day 3:
-boost and lukie come by our room and we start drinking at about noon. lukie can't handle his drinks at all and is wasted within 30 minutes. no one else was feeling it so lukie was our entertainment for a few hours. i have a video of him being drunk but i can't post it until i get back.
boost, lukie and i decide to cruise around the pools and beach area, here are some drunk lukie highlights:
-every girl we see younger than 25 lukie would yell something at. "YO"...then the girl would just keep walking with her eyes down as lukie stared at her passing. it was funny at first but got old fast.
-old couple is looking at some fish in the aquarium, lukie just taps old guy on shoulder. "heeeeeeeey." old guy just stares at him, surprised. im like "lukie wtf are you doing????" he responds (with slurring) "aw man i thought he was cool."
-young islander stops us and tries to sell us jet ski passes. lukie interrupts "heeeeeeeey man my name is eric lukie, whats your name? oh nice to meet you trevor, im looking for some hot girls, have you seen any?" this is when lukie puts his arm around the dude and starts rubbing his back. "i havent been laid in so long trevor, help me with that." it starts getting weird so we pull him away to some bar where he harasses some guy named johan.
-we sit around a pool that has alot of people in it. lukie sets his sight on a couple old ladies and wades over. i am too embarassed to look so i get boost to give me play by play. apparently lukie starts telling them hes a poker player and lying about how much money he won this morning. the 60 year old ladies eventually start trying to introduce lukie to their husbands. i dont know what happened here really, but we leave somehow.
-we decide lukie should be passing out about now and that he needs to go back to his room. we have to walk through the casino, and i get distracted by roulette. im betting on blacks and reds and shit and lukie sits down at slot machine ready to black out. i tell him we are changing tables and to stay put. -$1k later we go looking for him and hes gone. dammit we lost him! whatever
-we go to bar to meet up with vish and derek and happen to run into bmxicle and doggz, who are both playing poker in the lobby. we order lots of drinks and aftera couple hours we decide to go see if lukie died and then get dinner.
-we find lukie in his bed passed out. after some time he tells us that he started throwing up in the casino and he was escorted back to his room. he sucks but its funny enough that we let him stay. we go to restaurant and offer lukie about $700 to chug a bottle of sake but he refuses (nit).
-i lose some more money playing roulette and we all get more drunk. we smoke a bunch of nice cigars and then boost, bmx and i decide to go to the poker room and get a pic with lee jones. hes hosting the moneymaker millionaire final table so hes busy=no pic. we take alot more drinks and talked to all these crazy people but i dont really remember it...i was kinda drunk.
-friends come find us outside the pokerroom and tell us we are going to SENOR FROG, some crazy little bar. we pile into this big taxi van, roll to the spot and start partying. somehow lukie is already there, which is weird because we thought he went to sleep or something.
-we party with a bunch of big 2p2 names and they are all fun. half of them make fun of me because they take so much off me headsup on different sites. whatever.
-the crazy thug clown from the buffet in the first post was there but in normal human form. he comes up to me and boost and is like "hey guys remember me??? ill give you a hint....i had blue wig." im pretty wasted and dont want to offend him so i start saying shit like "yea....that guy....from that place" because i wasn't 100% sure he was the clown. he tells us hes going to get some pussy, i tell him good luck, he informs he that its not about luck and departs. smug bastard.
-i find myself drinking at a table with some people when lukie approaches. he tells us a story about how he just got punked by some guy, so i tell him to take me to him and we can figure out wtf is up. he takes me to a table full of girls and sits down, starts spitting game at them. eventually this huuuuuuuuuuuuge tool comes up from behind him and starts pulling out the chair from him. lukie gets a sad face and leaves after the guy tells him to get out of said chair. i ask the guy who the fuck does he think he is, etc., and he tells me that lukie was "trying to dance with all the girls and even groping them, he is just being a douchebag, he thinks hes the king shit but you know who the king shit is???" (guy pops his collar) "im the king shit!" yea this guy is a major major tool, so i tell him that he is a fag or something. i must have sounded angry because the girls started grabbing me and begging for me to end the drama. i kiss the hot one on the hand and wish them fairwell.
-a bunch of 2p2 kids decide to go to strip club (notable ones were cts, raptor, newhizzle) and we tag along upon their invitation. i sit next to newhizzle aka mark newhouse, he won some WPT event at the bellagio i think and was involved with all the shit with brandi hawklsflkdjf (whatever her name was, huge slut leach poker degen girl). he seems like a cool guy.
-outside strip club, apparently the 15 of us are being really loud so one of the bouncers say "if you like pussy, shut the fuck up!" there is an awkward silence, then raptor yells "aaaaaaaaaah!!!" that kid cracks me up.
