maybe its cause 90% of the time you see cops it is a bad thing? the other 10% is when you call them for whatever reason, and they fuck it up prolly at least half the time cause they are so damn stupid. so really, only about 5% of the time you interact with cops its good

police officers are definantly a good thing and I strongly support them protecting the public from murders, rapes etc but at the same time every time i have had an interaction with a police officer it has been a very unpleasant esperience. when i have reported something to them they are completely worthless. the same goes with all my friends police experiences as well.

exactly my point. obv i dont think we should get rid of cops, that would be retarded. but at the same time they are stupid and suck at what their job for the most part.

Completely agree. Maybe Euph has had better experiences but from my own/family's/friends' experiences they have been nothing but assholes and that is being very generous.

My best friend is a Toronto cop. He's a good guy.
Cops are douche. I hate cops. I love my best friend but still. I can't stand when he gets into cop mode though. Most are just tax collectors writing tickets, hiding behind poles with radar guns, sneaking up alleys to write parking tickets or just staying out of the way. Cops don't get Speeding tickets, parking tickets or any other problems with the things they do, and they do.

thats a nice thought, but reality says otherwise. the fact of the matter is if a cop wants to fuck with you he will, and he doesnt really have to have convincing evidence (as we saw from santacruz's false arrest deal) and all thats gonna happen is it gets thrown out, and even that isnt a given. the problem is that most ppl who want to become cops are douche bags. they were douche bags before they came cops, and when you grant douche bags power, it isnt a pretty thing.

The bottom line is exactly as I wrote it. It's not a nice thought. It's the Law. Do not assume for a second that people who want to become cops are douche bags. Am I a douche bag? EDITED FOR TIME: Iclicked on the link. I searched the area in Maine that I am most familiar with. No entries. Neutral. I don't love cops per se but, from the interactions I have had with those in my area I can say that I would stick up for them in a pinch. All things being equal, I want them around.......One guy I met does fucking care. I got a thousand yard stare......
