This has happened to me 3 of the last 4 times I get hammered:
I don't drink water before bed, I wake up in the morning, hungover and thirsty as hell, I chug a bunch of gatorade or fruit juice, a half hour later, I proceed to puke up all the gatorade or fruit juice. I really need to start drinking water before I go to sleep but it's so hard to remember to do it when you're drunk.

Put a big thing of water beside your bed and when you go to collapse and pass out, you'll see it, say OMG WATER and then you'll drink it all.

You should probably try drinking less. I'm not sure how much re hydrating is related to throwing up in the morning. I think you should work on drinking water throughout the night or trying to eat something while partying or before passing out.

You have to drink water throughout the night. Drinking water won't do a thing before you go to bed. The alcohol inhibit's your bodys ability to process it so it just gets passed through. So basically you have a better chance of pissing your bed than waking up with no hang over.

That's not true. While you're drinking is when water won't be absorbed by your body and that's why you have to pee so much during the night. Drinking before bed is fine because your ADH is back and working (with the alcohol being removed from your system) and your body is back to absorbing water.
