It might not be the right forum to ask this but has anyone played an APPT event before? I’m asking because the APPT is coming to Auckland in October with a US$2,400 buy-in and I’m really keen to play as I think that this is the most exciting Poker related thing that ever happened to New Zealand.

Of course I try to satellite into this event but I’m so tempted to buy-in directly. If anyone has ever played on of theses events, what is your view? Are they worth taking the punt for?

that sounds awesome. after having a great time in costa rica ive really been considering traveling to a lot more of these. its a great excuse to get out and see things and lets you make money at the same time.
