Thinking about getting one at the end of the month. Anyone use a Dell? Or anyone have other suggestions as to a computer to buy? Basically I would need it for 3 tabling party poker, music, and doing college papers and what not.
Thanks
Tony

if you want to a) 3-table b) listen to music and c) use MS office, a $300 laptop from ebay will do the trick. A Dell XPS (even not fully tricked out) is way overkill for the needs you listed.
If you play graphics intensive games, run a lot of programs simultaneously, or do any kind of image/video editing, then the XPS would be just dandy.

I have an XPS. The weight is a little annoying when I'm carrying it to class or the lib back at school, but besides that I have 0 complaints. It's a great machine.
