Haha I don't know who dresses up..I've only seen it once, at LOTR 3. Some moron dressed up as an elf.
Something funny happened here though, two brothers came here to camp the night before the premiere. They had candles and all kinds of stuff with them, spending the night outside the cinema. Some drunk guy came along, stomped their candles and food, then proceeded to beat them both up. They went home before even getting tickets.
I didn't bother getting premiere tickets, I'd rather see the movie later and get a really good seat.

I must live close to the apex of the nerds. We have 3 invite-only shows at about 7:00-8:00 tonight.
Almost every big theatre here is playing it at midnight. And a couple are playing it at 2:00, 3:00 and even 6:00 am.
Who'se gonna see it at 3:00 in the morning?
I'm gonna go just so I can see who else goes.

I just saw the movie. It was realyl really really really really... really relaly relaly REALLY Good. Very good. So good that im downloading it on torrent. WEll I actually started to download like 5 hours before the movie started. I have another 7 hours to go. really good. If youre a star wars fan, its gonna make you want to whip out those widescreen star wars DVDs and watch 4 5 6 in succession.

I heard this one is awesome. The last one was too much of a love story, not enough action and violence.
