No, but I did once get hassled for entering Canada with almost no cash. They grilled me and my wife for 45 minutes about what we were going to do in case our car breaks down, or some other random crappy event takes place.

all you see when you travel from Holland into Belgium is slightly different houses. there is not even a sign that says "you are now entering Belgium. please have your shit ready to be declared to some customs official fuck".

its like an extra 10 minutes just have to declare it fill out a quick form, or if you have like 15k and travelling with a friend give them 6k and when they ask you if you have over 10k just say nope
