Last night I was screwing around with $100, turned it into $850 over the course of an hour betting $25 eachtime.

I can easily see myself making 5,000 a night betting $100...

Anyone else tried it?

Hum, what custom rules do they use that give the player such a huge advantage?

Or are you just "lucky" and wasting our time?

Variance in Blackjack can be CRAZY I tell you (I know from my casino whoring experience). You could just as well have lost $850.

Is this a joke btw?

if you have mad-phat blackjack 5killz you could probably only lose -.5% on each hand over the long run. Play on!

Yes, I do believe there WAS a need for the sarcasm. It was SO needed.

And I couldn't have said it better myself..."Yeah, and the math says that you will lose, which means there is only one fish.....and that fish is you."

There is plenty of material around the internet on perfect blackjack strategy. I think the only way to make it a +EV is to adjust bet sizing compared to how many high cards or low cards are remaining in the deck after so many hands. This is impossible online, I believe.

this reminds me of my sisternlaws brother who made 300 betting red and black on roulette over a couple hours and now whenever he is short on his SUV payment he thinks he can just go to the casino and make the difference

I'd rather play against fish than against a game that will beat you in the long run. Take your $850 and play against the fish and never play blackjack again.

.61% for the house if you play perfect basic strategy.

Shuffled after ten percent of the cards are dealt. Ten percent! LMAO "We don't want anyone even THINKING that it is possible to count cards here. "

Online BJ = -EV... SideBests = -EV
only time BJ becomes +EV is if you card count and last time i checked it was imposible to card count a RNG...

yeah, for this story about making money on PP blackjack, I've read just as many stories about people losing about a grand on blackjack. believe me, I've learned my lesson about trying to beat blackjack the hard way. it's a -EV game with high variance. If you happened to make money in one session, bravo to you. let me tell you my story:

I was playing on Bodog, it the middle of a horrible swing (down -$150 at the time, which was bad for my limits, $25NL and $10+1 SNGs at the time) so I decide to play blackjack one night for the hell of it. I bring $25 to the table, trying the double your bet when you lose strategy. I turned that $25 into $250, and soon ended up losing it all. If I would've have known when to quit, I could've had some good luck and erased my bad luck due to some good luck.

Moral of the story: Blackjack sucks.

Online bonus money makes BJ EV+, obviously.

P.S. I'm so sick of this thread I had to add to it. (?????) I now hate myself.

Or if you put it all on one bet you could double up to $1700. I think that's the way to go.

I find PP to be extremely streaky (not that B+M isn't streaky either). Last month, I started with measly $25 hands while 3tabling and went up to $200 hands pretty quick. Was up $8500 over the course of just over 2hrs of play. Too bad it's table max.

Of course, I can't really justify compless gambling at any rate.

I soooooo wanted to make a gimmick account named $11,632.42 to respond to that. Let's just pretend I made one and used it to say something funny.
