After a convo with GMML I thought I'd also introduce this great site to all the FTR'ers who like music. This site is kind of like the facebook of music. On the surface it simply lets you browse a lot of music and play short clips and sometimes the full tracks as well. However, once you sign up, you will fully appreciate what this place offers. Last.fm has you download an application that uploads your music plays (called scrobbling). This enables friends and other to see what you're listening to, but more importantly, last.fm begins to search its database for people with similar interests and underground bands you might like. I think it's a pretty amazing "web 2.0" application.
I'm bgj84 on there, look me up and add me if you end up joining.

i use pandora.com
internet radio that takes what you like and shows you new songs/bands etc.
Yours sounds better though, but the last thing I want is for my friends to see just how much Kelly Clarkson I can handle.

Smithers, use the amnesia ray.
You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

I used to use pandora. Last.fm has very similar radio stations but bases it on your music collection and recently listened to music instead of just one band or song.
I was made fun of for the amount of fallout boy I listen to, it happens.
