yes, I use roboform too. can't really live without it anymore.

some people advocate using Kee-pass instead, but then those same people said that the actual passwords were not encrypted when using Kee-pass. Not sure about roboform's encryption though (in relation to when the passwords are actually input into the browser)

That website looks like the software will steal the shirt off your back if you install it.

Yeah, the passwords are encrypted, but if you copy/paste them they're not. Likewise if you just type them in a keyboard logger would obviously still work. It encrypts them in the database though. This is a good 2nd level of security to ensure noones logging you.

I doubt any password manager is fully encrypted like you seem to want. At some point it needs to be putting an unencrypted password into the field that wants it somehow.

if that "tunnel of communication" between password app and actual app is shielded form peering eyes, the way snoopfree seems to promise

SnoopFree Privacy Shield is not another scanner product. It's a powerful shield that guards your keyboard, screen and open windows from all spy software. The way it works makes it virtually impossible for any spy program to work on your computer. I've got nothing against spy software scanners... but they do have some serious problems that make them a bad choice if you're serious about privacy. The biggest problem is that they only detect spy software that they've been told about. This is a critical risk because you can be infected with spy software that your scanner does not know about! SnoopFree Privacy Shield's unique protection works against all spy software in real time...

too bad its not for vista, and they haven't updated in like years

I think snoopfree + keypass should do the trick together. That roboform sounds like it might handle webpage stuff securely, but stuff like pokersites you'd need additional?

I've installed that snoopfree now, hopefully that means I'm set with everything else I use.
