Logged on to party this morning to see they have added blackjack to the poker room. Another shameless profiteering excercise from Party Poker. I would rather see them adding triple draw games like UB has or heads up games like Stars, what do they give us? Bloody Blackjack! If you feel as I do mail them, not that that will do any good as their sub-continental call centre is as much use as a snooze button on a smoke alarm! Party suck!

Online poker revolves around the fish.

I love the new prop bets at the table!

Will those really attract the fish so much as help bust the fish sooner?

Fair point in terms of the prop bets. However, in terms of skins and rakeback, I'm comming around to it being a long-term good move for the better players if Party follows through with putting the revenue towards good incentives and player development. The fleets of Hold'em rocks and robotic ICM-driven SnG players created a very harsh and boring texture for our favorite players.

Party had the audacity to say prop bets and blackjack were requested en masse by the player community. Funny how they've not added triple draw lowball games and heads up tourneys that are frequently suggested / requested. Profiteering, mercenary bastards!

Well said. Given Party's track record though, I'm sure the increased revenue will go much further in lining their pockets than to better the gaming experience. It seems like most of their "improvements" have been more as means to increase the house take rather than to appeal to their customers.

in a nut shell, its a way for SNG players to calculate whether a push on the bubble is profitable or not.

This may be a dumb question and it may have been asked elsewhere but: as an Empire member, can I now just sign up with Party as if it were any other site?

WAIT on this a week or so. I think that rakeback opportunities will soon be opening at Party now that they've made their move.
